Neustadt, 10.11.2023 (PresseBox) – Dulon College, a vocational school in the Dutch province of Gelderland with more than 2,600 students, has undergone an impressive transformation over the past 12 months, turning it into a modern, energy-neutral educational center. Instead of completely demolishing the building, the existing concrete structure was retained and fitted with wellTEC vario® façade profiles.

The refurbishment of Dulon College is a prime example of sustainable and future-oriented construction. The main buildings were stripped down to the concrete structure and redesigned with aluminum façade cladding from MN Metall GmbH. This process not only changes the appearance of the college, but also creates a daylight-flooded, pleasant and safe environment.

The manufacturing of wellTEC vario® profiles is optimized to such an extent that a maximum of 1500 mm of primary material is used, resulting in practically no waste. The little waste that is produced is recycled for future use. In addition, the façade profiles have a durable anodized coating to reduce the environmental impact on the façade.

We are proud to be involved in the redevelopment of Dulon College into a sustainable education center. The refurbished building is expected to be ready for use by mid-2024 and promises an inspiring learning environment for the future.
